Workshops FAQs

Who runs the Early Days workshops?

Experienced facilitators run Early Days workshops. These facilitators are professionals with expertise in autism spectrum disorders and working with families. They must satisfy a range of criteria to be facilitators.

Where can I attend an Early Days workshop?

Early Days workshops are held in city, regional and rural areas across Australia, so there should be one near you. You need to express your interest in attending. When enough people in your local area register, a workshop is organised. We will let you know when and where.

Who can attend Early Days workshops?

Our workshops are open to mothers and fathers, or others who have the primary caring role of a child six or under with a diagnosed or suspected autism spectrum disorder. This includes Autistic Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome and Pervasive Development Disorder – Not Otherwise Specified.

Can I get childcare and accommodation assistance to attend Early Days workshops?

Yes. We offer a one-off $100 payment to help families make arrangements to attend the Introductory Early Days Workshop.
